Before anybody freaks out, I feel the need to preface this by saying that I am not engaged, nor am I anywhere near getting engaged. Let me repeat, I AM NOT GETTING MARRIED. And no, this is not meant as a hint, so don’t go bugging poor Derek.
But, I do like shiny things. And between a recent bachelorette party for a friend, about half a dozen acquaintances getting engaged this past weekend, and ABC’s never-ending ads for the new season of The Bachelorette, I’ve had shiny on the brain.
If I ever do get engaged, I need to find myself a nice, well-salaried man who can put an art deco asscher-cut beauty like this on my finger. Minus the milgrain. I LOVE art deco inspired jewelry. It’s geometric and bold and old-fashioned-modern.
I got kinda excited about the price too… until I saw it was in GBP. Curse the exchange rate.
Unfortunately, I seem to have a thing for debt-ridden Bible majors. But a girl can dream, right?
